Experience the Capricorn Coast from the comfort of home.
As governments across the world implement social distancing in the efforts to curb the spread of COVID-19, operators on the Capricorn Coast are offering up some of our signature experiences virtually. While regular travel may be off the cards for the foreseeable future, virtual escapism is open to everyone with an internet connection.
Here are some places to take a tour – without leaving the couch.
Catering to only 34 guess, social distancing is not a new concept to Pumpkin Island. You can even rent the whole island to yourself! Pumpkin Island is fortunate to be close to the mainland to offer a quick getaway, yet ultimate seclusion with very few guests. This allows safe social distancing whilst enjoying fresh air, beautiful nature and your own self contained cottage with minimal interaction with other guests or staff, if you so wish.
The popular Cathedral Cave tour has something for everyone! Showcasing spectacular caves, this walk leaves you with lasting memories of ancient geological history, early explorers, the wonders of wildlife and special cave acoustics. Leave the caves through the Zig Zag passage and suspension bridge, and finish with a sense of adventure.
