Reef & Keppel Islands
Step onto an island paradise where the ‘squeaky-clean’ white sand flows between your toes and the ocean sparkles before your eyes. With the protection of fringing reefs, the water surrounding the Keppel Islands group are calm, making it perfect for all types of water-sports such as snorkelling and paddle boarding. The real kicker? It’s only 30 minutes from the mainland!
Great Keppel Island
This patch of paradise answers all of the “What to look for on an island getaway”questions with ease! Crystal blue waters, white sand, coral reefs and palm trees… tick, tick, tick and tick. Great Keppel Island has arguably the best beaches of any Great Barrier Reef island. From tents to cabins, through to private beach houses skirting the water’s edge, there’s plenty of accommodation options.
Pumpkin Island is a hidden secret offering eco-friendly accommodation in self contained and self-catering beach cottages. At just 450 metres long and 150 metres wide (at the widest point) you can rent the whole island for yourself!
