The spectacular Peak Range creates a dramatic backdrop to Capella making it an ideal base while exploring the Central Highlands.
Capella Van Park is a Owner Managed Park. Owners David and Jodi have been in Capella and have owned this Park since 2005.
The park offers:
- Powered Sites
- Unpowered Sites (grass only)
- Self contained Units (ensuite)
- On-Site Van (no ensuite)
- Shady Sites
- All sites have concrete slab, power, sewer and water
- “Happy Hour” during tourist season (May – September)
General Information
Capella is a great little town! It is central to Emerald (and Lake Maraboon), the Sapphire Gemfields (Rubyvale, Sapphire & Anakie) and Clermont (Goldfields & Theresa Cr Dam). There is a fantastic Aquatic Centre, Undercover Arena, Pioneer Village and very informative Self Drive Tours to check out the surrounding area. There’s also have a Tavern, Pub, Golf Club, Restaurant, Cafe, News Agency, Hardware, Hair Salon, Natural Therapies, Beauty & Massage, Pharmacy, Library, Tyre Service, Post Office, NAB, fuel station and numerous engineering businesses. A very tidy and neat town, well worth staying in for a few days.

Dooleys Tavern now have a Courtesy Bus to pick up and drop off around Capella (bookings required). Otherwise Capella Van Park are situated within walking distance to most town facilities.
